Dominic Manning
Chair
Dominic is a local architect and has been a keen environmentalist ever since reading Bill McKibben’s The End of Nature. He stood as county councillor for Eastern Rother in 2021 and more recently came close to winning a seat in Rother District Council elections in May 2023.
He has been the Chair of the Rother Environmental Group since 2008, is a trustee of Strandliners and is a founder member of Rye Food and Wildlife Community Garden.
Nicky Bishop
Campaigns organiser
Nicky has been organising election campaigns on and off for the last 30 years, initially in London and now here in Sussex. Nicky lives in Battle. When she’s not busy doing Green stuff she teaches Latin and Maths and plays in a band.

Andrew and his wife live in the village of Brightling on a small farm which they attempt to manage sustainably.
Chris Glenn

Chris joined the Green Party in 2015 and in June 2022 moved from South London to Bexhill for some fresher air and to be closer to children and grandchildren. Since then he has been involved in activities including the so far successful campaign to keep rail station ticket offices open; visiting the Royal Mail workers’ picket line in Bexhill and encouraging our members and supporters to become further involved in the Green Party’s everything is connected ecological vision of environmental, social and economic justice. As a straight, white, able-bodied male he is committed to actively supporting and encouraging all individuals and groups who suffer disadvantage and discrimination in our communities.
